We're looking for candidates where this program specifically changes outcomes. Ideal candidates include:
- Career switchers with quantitative backgrounds seeking AI engineering roles
- Individuals from math, physics, or related fields dissatisfied with current trajectory
- Computer science graduates who understand theory but lack practical engineering skills
- Those currently underemployed despite possessing strong foundational abilities

Applications are evaluated on four equally-weighted factors (0-5 scale; average ≥3.0 recommended):
1. Commitment & Availability
Demonstrates capacity for intensive program demands
2. Aptitude & Background
Assessed via LinkedIn, CV, projects, portfolio; evaluates technical foundation and learning velocity
3. Trajectory, Impact, Need
Examines how the program creates genuine career outcomes rather than incremental resume additions
4. Program Fit
Alignment between curriculum, placement approach, and applicant's goals

Why does this program matter?
"It's no secret that the job market (even for engineers!) is simply crazy right now. Knowing how to code is not enough to be hired. Our program turns people into people who are coders, yes, but also teaches them how to network, how to display their portfolios, and how to be employable."
Can I apply if I'm not sure I can commit to the full program?
"No. Only apply if you're confident you can execute on the time commitment. We're selecting for people ready to go."
Can I defer my merit award to a later cohort?
"No. The award is for Spring 2026 enrollment only. We'll run this again for our Summer 2026 cohort."
I have a non-traditional background. Should I still apply?
"Yes, if you meet the aptitude criteria. We care about capability and trajectory, not credential box-checking."
